The E-films MxR Express Card Reader is specifically designed to accommodate SDHC cards only. It uses a push-in/push-out mechanism where the whole SDHC card is enclosed in the reader, allowing the user to close the door on the camera.

(Please note: the latest firmware needs to be installed on the EX1/EX3/EX1R and PMW‐350 cameras for the majority of SDHC memory cards to be recognised by the Sony camera. The current version of firmware for EX1 is 1.2, and for EX3 is 1.1)
