MxR USB Expresscard Adapter Features:
Overview:
Downloading footage to your computer Option 1 - Download directly from your camera using a USB2.0 cable. This is the slowest method available, as the camera throttles even slow USB2.0 performance. That means the camera and the computer are tied up whilst this takes place. Option 2 - Remove the memory card from the MXR Expresscard or MxR Extreme adapter and insert in into an SD card reader or the SD slot on your computer. Although the MxR Expresscard adapters were designed for this, some filmmakers prefer to treat both the adapter and the memory card as a unit and not remove it. Option 3 - PREFERRED OPTION: Use the E-films USB Expresscard Adapter, which connects any of the E-Films MxR adapters, to the USB2.0 or USB3.0 port on any computer Using the E-films USB Expresscard Adapter, the filmmaker can download at very high speed. In our real world testing we easily achieved 38-40MB/s using Extreme Pro 45MB/s. That’s nearly as fast as SxS using a PCIe Expresscard slot in a computer! This means you can now download onto any Mac or PC, desktop or laptop. It can download in the background so it won’t interfere with your editing, and happily works with Clip Browser.
